Either you did it wrong or you were standing in the wrong place. if you try and just click it in a random place you may be on the edge of the invisible floor one the ground where the walls will place, if you're on the edge when it gets to that side it's gonna be placing it way out in front of you or sum shit.

This doesn't work for me either; it was an issue with the amount the screen turned in the end.

Recheck everything. Make sure the delays and turn x / y is correct. If they are it may be your ping. It can effect some of these. Typically i have around 50 ping.
