Your -rep is your rep power divided by two. So if you give 50 for +rep, you give 25 for -rep. This system is bad af, this one mod (not gonna say who incase it's against the rules or whatever.. too lazy to check) -repped me from this thread for no reason and i lost like 15 rep.
