Low Ping Still Lag/Warp

When I check my ping under status it says usually around 65 yet when I play I get pretty bad lag/warp and have a horrible KDR because of it. I am usually lucky to get a 1+ KDR in a game and that is usually with noobs and in a server with 6 people max. I am in an old house and around 50 feet away from the router/internet setup. Could the distance between my laptop and the internet setup be causing the lag/warp?

Yea, I am wirelessly connected to the internet. Also just in case I have Comcast Cable.

I bet its your RAM / Video Card.

The reason i say this is because sometimes you can get what's called "Screen Lag"

This is where it is not actually lag due to your network being slow,
It is caused by your Video Card not being able to update the screen due to a mass change in graphics.
It can also be caused by your RAM for the same reason. You don't have enough memory to smooth over the video surge so all of your RAM is taken up and your screen can't redraw.

QUESTION.

After you lag... like the split second after... are there like TONS of kills, and you die also?

Example:

Your running in Prison and you turn a corner all of the sudden it lags.
You wait about like what... 15 - 30 sec maybe.
Then you hear a gun shot followed by a delayed image of you dying./
When you look up in the top right corner there are like 8 people who just got killed at the same time including you.
You respawn and everthing is fine.

Sometimes I lag how SSK.Darken says but yea I know that. But what really stumps me is I check my ping which is like 65 and people are like "lagger kick!" "lol you lag" and stuff. It is really starting to piss me off! >.<

I don't understand? I installed the newest drivers for my video card, if that is what you mean?

I'm pretty sure it is not that kind of lag. I have all of it on normal anyways.
