    just start with c/c++ due to the huge amount of youtube tutorials and practice. try to create things you find online such as a simple soda machine or atm machine. learn how to create separate functions and classes for your projects. rewrite them in multiple ways and it will help it stick to your brain.

    After ratings, Java is 1st, C++ is 2nd and C# is 3rd.
    In my opinion start with C++, it's algorithms aren't that hard.
    Pretty good advices I suppose.

    As many people said before, Java or C would be good for starters.

    Best way to start programming in my experience is to start off with the basics, there are plenty of great tutorials online to assist you in learning but from experience I find experimenting with programming language till you become familiar with it.

    I started with Java many years ago and progressed to C++. Honestly, I started out with a book for beginners (I was in High School) which was super helpful. It was called Java in easy steps. It was a good place to start for me, it started simple and went to slight more "Advanced" topics.

    If you have no previous programming experience C++ Primer is an excellent introductory book to learn C++, it was my coursebook for introductory coding at college but i found it really helpful.

    Could you learn to code by creating easy games on unity? Or is that a waste of time?

    C/C++. They are harder compared to others, but they are better in my opinion.
