Flash Vs. Apple Continues...

well, yeah, but there is another reason.
this was mentioned in the open letter, but i will sum it up.

- First of all, apple has the ability to control what goes in their store. Its their store and they can restrict what they want. But yes, they are greedy pigs too.

- The flash development kit was made so that developers could make apps for multiple different platforms, but only making the app once. This means that they only get access to the most minimal feature-set of the different platforms.

- Also, flash developers arent really developers. They dont have to know any kind of coding. I mean, arun made that 'you cant escape' flash thing...imaging hundreds of thousands of iphone apps as crappy as that.


Another argument that flash fanboys make is that you cant play flash games on the iphone. who needs to? there are 200,000+ apps in the app store, and almost half (maybe more) of those are games.

Edit: I just remembered you can develop iphone apps in java.
