    External GPUs?

Is this even worth considering? I have a laptop with an integrated GPU but want to do some decent level of gaming I'm at home..any suggestions for a decent eGPU? Looking for something that's relatively quiet but can handle pubg or fortnite at 1080p at at 60fps

I have an msi gtx 1060 ti 6gb gpu. I get an average of 100fps at 1080p on max settings on fortnite. With a gtx 1050 ti, you should be getting very close to an average of 60fps on fortnite and pubg.
    Please +rep and +thanks if I helped

If you play on a Mac then yeah i'd recommend it. Other than that you should just build a better desktop pc.

Maybe game on a cloud service like Geforce Now instead of buying a GPU.

Imo, I'd recommend building a computer, I have headaches gaming on a laptop (especially with Nvidia Optimus enabled) and containing good temps while playing games. I would recommend GTX 1060 ti (not sure which brand tho) for 1080p 60fps on fortnite and/or pubg.

If you do end up building a PC, I'd recommend balancing your build, as in not bottle-necking your other components and make sure everything is compatible with each other.

it cost a lot , the holder is liek couple hundred, you cant run latest gpus, and then its not 100%, but if you really wanna games its a deal i guess? buy used gpu holder and then gpu.
