Norweigan Prisons

so i was reading this article in Time magazine about how prisons in norway are like hotels with TVs in every cell and beautiful walls and floors instead of the usual cinderblock. the prisoners are treated with respect and the guards sometimes play sports and hang out with them, and the prisoners get to take cooking classes and things and then they leave the prison as better people

so im thinking this is a great idea you know, instead of making prisons be like punishments, we should make them more like rehabilitation centers so prisoners can better their ways.
so then i ask myself: why dont we do this here?

and then i realized. norway doesnt have black people, and black people can't handle having nice things.
