just use the ssd for windows and the programs/games you run most of all ,
hdd for everything else ,
Games, OS and programs should be on SSD for best performance. Things that requires constant loading will benefit from the speed that SSD offers.

hd for all other files
Just make sure that your able to store your OS on the SSD. I keep my programs on mine (256 GB). Just make sure that large files like games and TV show/movie/music colections are kept on the HDD. Worst comes to worst you need another storage expansion in which case the greater transfer speed of the SSD will make it much easier to upgrade as well.

You can also use an SSHD instead of HDD. Slightly more expensive, but it uses your habits to fast up the files you use more. Really a good choice and probably longer warranty period.
Definetly put OS in SSD you gonna feel much different with OS in SSD, and use your HDD for other data...
I tried the SSD route and it filled up within the first month with minimal games installed. I now have my OS on the SSD and games on HDD like others suggested. Works great!

storing your games and apps on the HDD shouldnt affect it alot, but keeping an SSD soley for the system is quite good
I want a Samsung 500GB and 2TB Western Digital. I want to clone my current 1TB HDD. I've heard I need to fit it all on my 500GB. I'm using 200GB. That should work.
