Before the whole game launcher business, I used Grimoire 3.8 which was working normally. After the game launcher was released and a fix to the game launcher block was created for Grimoire, I re-downloaded Grimoire. For some reason now, I am stuck on the white/grey loading bar now.
For further information, the Flash Player installed in my computer is the most recent version (31.0.0.122). I tried running it with admin privileges, also tried installing the PPAPI version of Flash (as usually only the NPAPI version of Flash is installed). My .NET Framework version is 4.5.1 installed in Windows 8.1 (which I understand is a trouble child OS compared to the others), and I have tried installing 4.7.2 only to fail.
I did a check on other users who claimed to have the same problem, and made sure my system date and time is correct, and I know my internet speed is more than sufficient to load AQW. If anyone needs any additional information, I'll see what I can do about it.
Please help. Thank you in advance.

Certainly. Recently, I also tried loading the latest version of Le Bot, and I was able to play it just fine, which means that the problem has to do with Grimoire 3.8 itself.
I could just play with Le Bot, but Grimoire's bot functions are much more advanced, so I'd much rather use Grimoire...
Maybe install it again?
Tried it again; obviously it didn't work...
Also tried installing .NET Framework 4.7.2 but setup failed due to "illegal character encountered".
Do any viewers of this thread happen to know alternative bots that use only .NET Framework 4.5 other than Grimoire (since Grimoire doesn't work in my computer)? I'd like to get a start on farming for that Shadowscythe class
Problem solved:
I did a reversion of services in services.msc, did a reset of the network adapter ("netsh winsock reset catalog" in the command prompt), and for some reason, it worked.
For any friends experiencing the same problem, it might be good to revert system services back to default and/or reset the network adapter.
Requesting thread lockup.
