Do you have a PSU that has a GFX power connector?
Yes! (High speed)
Yes! (Medium speed)
Yes! (Low speed)
No.
I found this graphics card, but I am wondering if it is any good. I wanted a cheap one that will play CoD MW2 and Combat Arms quickly and smoothly and found this one.
The buttons (smilies, bold, underline, add link) aren't even working for me anymore, so I have to do this:
Newegg.com - ZOTAC ZT-98GES3G-FSL GeForce 9800 GT 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card
It is the link for the graphics card.

List the computer you have, because i'm 99% sure your PSU won't be able to handle it.

you can find out ur specs.. cpu and ram easily through control panel/ system... if ur pc is that new then why is the graphics card that old? are u sure that date isnt the driver date? also yea u need to know if u have a pin connector on ur power supply... u can always buy one with it for about 20-70 bucks... what kind of motherboard do u have? agp slot or pci- express... u need to find that out first... if its agp they max out ati radeon 4650 and geforce 7300gt, i know becuase i have a agp mobo thats old... i bought a pci, normal pci not express geforce 8400 gs and it runs ca alright but gets crappy frames if theres alot going on or in certain maps. its playable but frustrating... as for mw2 i beat it on low settings but it was nearly unbrerable at some parts... hope this helps... thank me if u want! also most pci-express cards will run those newer than id say 6800 gt... but 9800 is a great card for the price

My suggestion is to upgrade your whole computer...
You can't polish a turd...
the 9800 GT is pretty outdated, the 5670/4770 is a better option

@pepsi233: can you PLEASE learn how to type? My brain has to decrypt and reproject it so my eyes can stand to see it.
@lagginswag: Can you space please? ".. " isn't working, try hitting enter once or twice. HP likes to fuck you over when buying a computer, it wouldn't surprise me if there was an old card in there. Also, if the driver date was that old, the thing it would be "driving" would have to be the same age or older...or it wouldn't have that driver.
QFT.
Just get a new computer.
