As mentioned above, not all mining is bad, especially if a website is upfront about it. In fact, you may want to support a website with mining instead of viewing ads — it's a pretty fair trade-off. Question is, do i mine while viewing only your website or even when i close your website?

Actually that was a test I was trying about a week ago. I never removed it. You can even turn off adblock and you will see that the website doesn't actually start mining at all, it's not active. I will remove it, even though it won't make a difference.

Perhaps in the future I might add it again, but with forewarning on the website that coin mining is on it.

It's removed now, even though it wasn't active in the first place. Website coin miners only mine while you are on the website.
