    Social Anxiety or something

Since I can remember in School, I was very shy.

I didn't talk to anyone other than my really closest friends and they were like 3.
Today I still am afraid to talk to strangers. I kinda want to talk to them but I'm also intimidated.

I can have fun with my close family and talk normally but in Public I have difficulties.

I'm writing this to open up about a thing I've been hiding from everyone.
Even though I can quite easily write it here, but face to face. I'd be afraid to start a conversation.

I have this problem but it's even worse. Before anything impotant, even if it doesn't involve much on my part, I'm like afraid and I start throwing up. Before going out, I throw up again. I don't understand how to fix it because in my head, I know that it's nothing to be afraid of, but I still am.

You could say I am in the same boat as you I only ever talked to a small group of friends in school and still only do it's been a couple years and now that I am in college I just don't simply don't talk to anyone~

I always think that people are always staring/talking about me (just makes me want to hide and be alone)

It's all in your mind I used to be like this, you gotta stop caring what other people think and just live your life.

What @kkarnage says but it would be hard to adjust that fast in reality you just gotta stop caring what people thinks about you, time moves by fast and you shouldn't let opportunities like talking to people get to you because in the future your gonna regret it. Sadly we can't go back in time and change it so you just have to suck it up and stop thinking what other thinks about you.

I would focus on living your life, much of this is in your mind... You're going to be a shining star, with fancy clothes and fancy cars.

    public panic

It often happens that we can feel much more comfortable to write to people and be more talkative like that.
I remember that I had such social communication difficulties for years.
    Then it disappeared.
The last year I had panic attacks twice in crowded places.
    Can't get the reason though.

You should really loosen up mate I know people like that...
Even I was a bit like that in the past.. But then I stopped caring what other people think, and when taking to someone, I always imagine how much the other person wants to hear me talk xD.. Yeah.. Works every time though :v

I had the same 'problem' when I was younger I did not speak very much and usually just stood in the background.
But when I got my first job at an IT company I started to interact more and more with people over the phone (support etc) and that really helped a lot and now I have no trouble speaking with people, I think it takes time and getting used to it.

I had not like social anxiety, but I was always afraid to do something, like kiss girl for first time and such stuff.
How stupid that wouldn't sound, but once I tried MDMA, and after that time, I dont feel scarred for some reason. I don't know how it worked, but yeah... drugs are bad.

Just interacting with people in college and work definitely helped me out. Public Speaking ended up being a great class for me. I'm still quiet, but feel much more comfortable being around people.
