IWNET EMULATOR, NO NEED FOR STEAM LOGIN
Right guys after being a bit curious about this IWnet emulator thing, i decided to go check it out.. and amazingly it works
This is not my own work.
your gonna want to have Warezdudes DLC map pack and you NEED MW2 VERSION .195, but basically you download the .rar (attached below) put them into your main MW2 folder ( c:/program files/steam/steamapps/common/Call of duty modern warfare 2 )
then, open up alterIWnet_configure.exe and type in a username (This will be your ingame name), hit save. then open up alterIWnet.cfg (i think its a cfg, the text file above the .exe) and make sure it looks like this:
[Configuration]
Server=gsf-ts.game-server.cc (I'VE JUST BEEN IN-FORMED THE SERVER HAS RESET TO THE DEFAULT: damageware.no-ip. info(<--del space) )
Nickname=(YOUR NICKNAME)
now all that remains is to open up iw4mp.exe and play! you will have to start from rank 1 but thats no problem with all the trainers floating around on here
Please note that your playing with the other people using this emulator, not other people ingame. so this sets your game version back to .182 rather than .195

yeah dude, you didnt change the CFG file i told you to. go into your MW2 main folder, open the text file and change the bit that says Server=
