It's a shared server so you'll basically be sharing the same resources with thousands of other websites owners. Slow traffic and unreliability.

I'd say the only catch is abused IPs or IPs that are marked as Spam, Fraudulent, or Phishing and more. Server performance might lack as well, though this is not usually the case as a website is not the most taxing to run.

But for $4 it doesn't look too bad but a thing to lookout for with these "Unlimited" things is there always is a limit. Whether it will be storage used, bandwidth, etc. I once had a hosting provider that had "Unlimited" plans but limited the "Unlimited" plans by putting a file-count lock, meaning, no matter the size, you would only be able to have 200,000 - 2,000,000 individual files depending on the package.

I've since moved from hosting providers and purchase my own VPS's and Dedicated Servers, I like having dedicated root access to my edge nodes.

Agreed. I do not mind paying the bills, I currently have 4 VPS's and 2 Dedicated Servers, round about $500/month but it's worth it.

I did some googling and they're actually using the same datacenter as other well-known and established companies such as DediSpec and WholeSaleInternet located in Kansas City, Missouri.

Usually these types of offers don't last very long. Take for instance services that sell lifetime license. I was burned several times on buying lifetime license for a software or a web script. a year or two in to it developer decided that he is not making enough money and cancels your lifetime license and you are stuck paying monthly. Same can potentially happen here that after a year this goes away but who knows. If it's a shared server then you can really oversell it and turn $20 VPS in to $2-3.000 in sold resources. The big question is will this hosting company be there next year? Next month?
