how to use iwnet emulator and legit steam without copying files everytime

ok i figured out how to use the iw net emulator and play the steam mw2 without having to copy files every time!

first of all you can get the iw net emulator here: https://www.mpgh.net/forum/191-call-d...eam-login.html

you may also need the dlc: https://www.mpgh.net/forum/191-call-d...rfare-2-a.html

ok.
copy your mw2 install to somewhere else.

ie: from (c:/program files/steam/steamapps/common/Call of duty modern warfare 2) to somewhere like (c:/program files/mw2) or somewhere like that

dont delete mw2 from the steam folder! you need that to play on the real iwnet!


download the iwnet emulator and use it in the c:/program files/mw2 or wherever you copied mw2 to.
DO NOT USE IT IN THE (c:/program files/steam/steamapps/common/Call of duty modern warfare 2) OR YOU WILL GET VAC BANNED!!!!


thats all!! when you want to play mw2 with friends on steam load up steam and play. when you want to use hacks or something then use the mw2 in the (c:/program files/mw2) folder.

this should be a sticky.

-Copy the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 from c:/program files/steam/steamapps/common/
-Paste it to the desktop
-Add in the IWnet Emulator
-There you go two different files completely seperate.
So yer thats how I do it I don't know if you guys wanna try it that way but hey I can have my opionon

ya. that works. most people will put it on the desktop but if some are like me they like their desktop nice and clean. it doesn't make a difference where you copy mw2 just as long as its not in the c:/program files/steam/steamapps/common/ folder.
