    Thumbs up Where to start?

I have been off and on trying to learn how to code. I'm interested in game development and really want to learn C++ because it's highly used in most the tutorials and things I've found. I just want to know how to start. I can never find good tutorials that are truly for beginners. Thanks, Skylero.

I went to college. That worked for me.

I hate to say it, but learning to program isn't for lazy people. You have to put in the effort. I'd recommend a book to be a starting point. Something published by Pearson or another well-known scholarly publisher. I wouldn't recommend most websites simply because books are proof-read and fact-checked before publishing.

I would start with youtube. There are a lot of good videos on how to start with coding. It´s free and a great way to get started with a small app.
