Fitbits compared to the iWatch are total GARBAGE

but my mother recently bought a Fitbit Ionic and its probably one of the crappiest smartwatches i've ever seen.
She asked me to set it up for her which was already a hassle. With all the Bluetooth disconnects and synchronization problems.
Looking it up online you fine infinite amounts of comments where people complain at how bad Fitbits Smartwatches are...

300€ for an Ionic are you kidding me? For the same price you can get an iWatch Series 3 which is soo much better.
I feel like most people just have Fitbits Smartwatches because they get them SE'd... or don't have an iPhone:3

Some of the newer Fitbit's like the Fitbit Versa are okay imo.
But overall Fitbit as a whole kinda sucks, and it's just good to
resell if you are SEing them. People usually get the watches as
gifts because people can find older versions of the Fitbit's for like
50$.

Ticwatch is pretty solid for the price and hasn't let me down yet.

I don't necessarily see the point of any sorta smart watch. Any function that I can do with a smart watch I'll end up doing on my phone anyway.
Plus, Apple's watches require their own SIM card. (at least that's what I've been told)
