Weed, etc. acts of rebellion, things they think make them look, or feel kool is the teenager's equivalent of a toddler acting out because he didn't get a cookie.Until the key problem of the psyche of this person is self resolved or resolved through effective intervention, they'll be ridiculously annoying and immature (blatant "I WANT A COOKIE!" immaturity isn't the only form of immaturity) in a way that they wont realize until maybe they "grow" out of it and reflect.
