I'm not sure about Nexon in particular, but most Korean accounts require an I-PIN which is only available to Korean citizens. They're difficult to get, and even more to keep. IP checks and random re-verification requests are pretty common for accounts now.

Sometimes this is the case, but not too often. You shouldn't need a VPN. For example, I know Lost Ark has a system where you need a Korean IP in order to play.

@ARVNYS You will need a I-PIN and a KR registered phone number for nexon. If it was maplestory then you would be able to bypass region requirements by using naver, but since this game is only on nexon at the moment there is no other way to play the game.
