Read the hovertext on the key bind in the options menu. It probably makes the client look exactly like vanilla, but the visual changes were fixed in reverse so something could have been missed. Like the hovertext says, use at your own risk.

No, it is not. Things like autoaim and stuff will still work in screenshot mode and just not show up with the text when you hit the button. It is safe for screenshots. If you carefully make sure things that can give you away are all off, you could try to use it with recording, but thats a massive headache and one screw up is all it takes to expose yourself.
