you can give or deduct rep of someone by clicking on the star in the bottom left corner of that post

however you need rep power to do this, you get rep power by receiving +rep and the more rep you have the more power you get

Have to contest that. From what I've seen it's based upon post count. What's your rep power? I bet it's more than me.

i think the amount of rep you have, your post count (and maybe the amount of thanks you got) influence that (account age too) \

Rep power depends on the number of posts you have, join date, rep you have, etc.

i was expecting you to have a whole lot more rep power tbh

makes me wonder how it is being calculated, seeing how you have double my rep, and quadruple my likes, but i have a few more posts and a year longer on here
