IM Issues

Its very hard to connect on IM in the last few days. Just connecting and disconnect even my internet is okay.

It’s been working fine for most of us but I told Dave, he restarted it. Hopefully that helps.

Unfortunately I still can't connect, it's just reconnecting and after clicking reconnect in the most cases it says error occurred...
I didn't been able to connect a one single time in the last 24 hours

It's still not working, first time reported a week ago, this is getting ridiculous... It all started when a week ago forum was very slow, so I guess it has to do with maybe ddos? some server performances or something? Got no idea.
It's not only me this time but almost anyone...

It seems you have thousands contacts. Try removing some that are not actively buying from you.
IM is working fine for me, tho the site is loading slow

I can't remove them unless I connect which is impossible right now. Last time I did connected I removed a lot of them, oldest chats are probably around November/December... and also I can't request all to be removed, because people will be ignorant and scream scammer and stuff...

It's not blocked, I can connect normally from another profile with 0 contacts...

Btw I managed sometimes to connect by using firefox, going into javascript debugger and pausing it, after like a 2 minutes or more of being paused chat and contacts load up and I can resume it, but now when I do that it loads up but it says I'm already connected somewhere else and when I try reconnect it says error occurred... Idk if this is helpful into recognizing what's wrong...
A lot of times there is errors like this:

I deleted contacts from 2016, until February 2020, but the chat still does not work for me, I cannot delete other contacts, since many buyers have 1 year warranty, I re-entered the chat, and it no longer works, this problem happens once in several months, the last 2-3 months everything was fine, but this week everything is terrible
deleting contacts won't help.

After talking to Dave about your issues it seems like it's because of contacts again. I suggest you all request removal. Dave said he'll remove them for you guys, just request removal in the removal request thread.

It may be but day before I complained it got me connected really quick, almost no waiting, next day I can't even connect once, it has to do something with servers, I can't really request that people be removed, people will think I scammed them and chargeback, make scam reports and what not...

It's been fine with most of us who have a low number of contacts, no interruptions for the week. Pretty sure it's with your contact numbers. This should be fixed when the rewrite by Dave is done, as that's one of the main reasons for it.
