They'll work until a new patch comes out. Which realistically isn't that far away, the map pack comes out in about 2 weeks, thus that's when the next patch will be.

Really, i don't think war3z will have a problem recoding. He released a new External not to long after the last patch if i remember correctly.

I am not a coder, but I am 99% sure it is not possible, that definelly requires injecting a .dll or changing the .exe. I hope I am wrong!

For those who wonder how the hack is used after an update, someone will reverse the game code, and they will find the offsets in the memory of the new hack, these will then be applied to the hack and it will work again. The memory offsets are the location of information that the hack uses, and it is read from the memory in your computer from the game. I'm spending most of my efforts on the Python version of this hack, if you have not given that a try , check it out, it has the same requirements though, Win Vista/7 and have aero theme enabled.
