Nah they're different. Mine actually kinda screws into the headphones. It has like a notch, that you need to twist in. Fuck Antipatterns.

To make more money from you? the original cables that the headphone came with are LITERAL garbage. They stiffened up and became unsuable. It was like using a cable that was a fixed shape. It was horrible. All 3 of their standard cables had the same problem, they became stiff.

I've literally gone through 4 cables since getting these headphones, ATH-m50x. The audio quality is superb, but their fucking cables are @Trash.

theres plenty other good ones aswell that use a normal connector
