Also, if we are talking about it from "woahh bruhh look at this shit" than yeah it was pretty disappointing. BUT, that being said, I think by the time most of us hit 30-40 years old, it should look epic as fuck (hopefully). Remember, this is just the first picture. The meaning of the picture is really exciting tho.

To be honest, hollywood imagined a black hole to be pretty accurate to what it actually is now. Maybe that's why you're not impressed because you've seen something like it already.

But it's insanely far away, they had to use all of the super big telescopes we have at the same time just to get this picture.

Dix, are you expecting a wallpaper image from something that's 293,931,268,659,150,000,000 miles away? (<That's the actual mileage of 50M lightyears). This is like getting a microscope image of a grain of sand on the moon with the naked eye.
