Line weight, color theory and not soft shading is your friend here! I highly recommend staying away from soft brushes

It looks really good! all the shading looks great and correct for the light source, I would recommend outlining the soft hair around the Santa hat and the ball at the end because when everything else is outlined and there's one portion that isn't it can become distracting and almost the focal point, but other than that all of the detail looks amazing!
