[Help] Visual Studio 2010 Fails to Install

Has anyone else have this problem or are you all working with VS 2008? When I try to install the installation doesn't get past VC Runtime 9.0. I've tried mounting the .iso on a virtual drive but to no avail. Should I try burning a cd or will I get the same error? any help would be appreciated thx.

For how long did you w8???? becouse that spesific package is very large

To download or install? cause the download was about a half hour or so.
For the install it takes 2 or 3 minutes after the reboot then crashes.

Sounds like a corrupted OS.... reformat your comp

There is no way in hell you can convince me to do that maybe I'll just install 2008 or try to burn it to a cd. Btw this win7 is only 2 months old

hmm i have the same issue
along with the kernel detective
i've been away from my house for 7 hours and the visual studio is still only at microsoft .NET framework 4 beta 2 which is progress from where i left it but still, this is intense....
running Vista home prem x64bit;
