Uber referrals changed from $10 to $5 in Canada?

So I bought some referrals and noticed uber changed my account from $10 to $5 referrals. I made a new account and it was $5 as well, and I checked a friend's old uber account and theirs is $5 as well. I understand there is a work around for the US, but I need help with Canada.

Bump had a friend with the same problem and he had an aged account. prob cause whoever is giving the refs flagging ubers system

Go online and login to your uber account. Change the country to Sudan. It will give you the $10 referrals

Did you have to contact Support to do this?
Uber online doesn't let me change countries, even though it gives me the drop down menu that shows me the list of countries

No, I used the drop down menu. I did it a long time ago though, so that may be why. You may have to contact support though

You can change your Country by contacting support. Just choose a recent trip, choose "something else wrong with the trip", and explain that you want to change your country. They'll do it.

i think it will create problem because the currency showing $10 but for Canada it should be cad $10

Lol, you need calm down and relax. I understand why it's happening, my point was that I wasn't sure if it was just me thinking I had $10 when it was always $5, or if it actually changed.
