Original Netflix Animes (Opinions)

In this past 2 weeks I had watching Netflix originals animes and boy... Some of them are actually pretty interesting, like Baki for example.

What are your thoughts about the animes original by Netflix?

By the way some of them aren't that great

I've only seen Castlevenia, It was pretty decent. Everything else seems major cringe.

I know pretty well what are you saying but I know when a good anime is good, you can't say that because most of them were actually made by Japanese so... Yeah

I can say Devilman Crybaby was enjoyable, the animation was garbage but the anime was overall good

What? Of course they're Japanese, most of them are adaptations from manga ffs. Netflix just licenses and streams the anime, even Netflix original shows like Devilman Crybaby Netflix hired an already established animator and director (Yuasa Masaaki) to adapt an already popular anime and manga franchise (Devilman) If they weren't Japanese they wouldn't be considered anime, that's literally the line between anime and cartoons.

Agreed good point on there! Where they were made make the difference and is a good way to call anime or cartoon, simple as that.

netflix trying to bring more access to anime is the western is not a bad idea, but ppl laughed really hard at that death note L.A. , well nothing we can do about that it's just that mistakes are going to be needed in order to transform into a better company, well see how netflix goes as time goes by did it transform or NO. well im not against Netflix bringing anime but also i do make prejudice & stereotypes about their adaptations

Well if you really want to watch some anime (pay to watch) I suggest Crunchyroll they are better for that BUT Netflix are listening and doing an ok job for now.

But that aside, some good anime on Netflix are: Devilman Crybaby, Erased, FMA:B, Death Note (Anime not the movie), Violet Evergarden (It's fucking beautiful, it's like eyebleach.), Code Geass (Amazing Ending), Your lie in april (Cried my eyes out) and Saiki Kusuo (It's really fun to watch) There are others that are good but I can only think of these Netflix Originals.

Saiki Kusuo is fucking amazing. I've laughed my ass off. I've rewatched it 3 times. When you're feeling down you can literally just pull up any episode and you'll feel better.

you've listed some pretty good shows here but, Devilman Crybaby and Violet Evergarden are the only actual "Netflix Original" shows you listed. All the others are just streamed through Netflix. Not sure if you knew this just wanted to clear that up

Oh I actually didn't know that. I watched all my shows on some other sites or torrented but I've seen these on netflix. Thanks for clearing it up
