Also it's crazy to see how the Chinese government has completely wiped these protests from their history. I remember just a few months ago on Hasan Minhaj's show him saying that apparently they don't even teach the Tianemen Square protests in school and alot of the youth there don't even know about it. It's even crazier because this event only took place 30 years ago(meaning there are a shit ton of people alive that experienced it) and the Chinese government was still able to censor it so effectively.

The people that were killed in the massacre were communist students protesting the authoritarian government's crackdown on progressive leftism and labor movements dipshit. Funny how people always leave that out of their usage of Tiananmen as a political tool for xenophobia and anti-communism, when the entire point of the protests was that they were pro-communists protesting the regression of the country's communist party into capitalistic corruption and top down exploitation.

And a lot of them were actually killed in the protests. Very similar to what is happening now in Sudan. The United States is helping Saudi Arabia and its goons in backing prop up the Sudanese murderous army in doing the same exact thing the Chinese government did; cracking down on protests asking for democratic reform. This is why it's important for us to choose and vote for legislators who don't back these regimes.
