I was browsing a previous scam report thread by johnwick23 and I realized I'm in the exact same position as him. I purchased Moltisanti's services on May 10th for a Best Buy order however it's since been 7 weeks. According to Moltisanti the Best buy reps would keep delaying the refund but I believe there was never any contact in the first place. I decided to contact Best buy and they confirmed my suspicions and informed me that returns were no longer possible as it was way past the return deadline. Moltisanti did offer to refund and set up a return however I have no reason to believe that it would go through considering he fabricated the whole story. Now I'm down $1500 CAD for an item which the reps said I can't return.
Some red flags I noticed:
On Fri, May 31st the refund was supposed to go through as it was the 5th business day. Moltisanti said I would have to wait until Monday as the 27th was Memorial day (non billing day). The problem here is that we don't have memorial day here in Canada so friday would've been the 5th business day. Moltisanti said that Best buy billing is based in the US but this is completely untrue as Best Buy Canada billing is based in Burnaby, BC and US holidays do not affect Bestbuy.ca billings. Moltisanti supposedly contacted them the next day and was told that I would have to wait until the 5th business day to pass. This is a clear indication that he never contacted them because Friday was 100% the 5th business day.
According to his interaction with Best Buy on June 12th, the refund was initiated already and it was just an issue with the billing system however on the 23rd we're back to square one and the billing team apparently forgot to issue the refund. Additionally, he was in 3 way calls with the manager and billing team so there should be no reason why the refund didn't go through.

To further clarify on this after I realized who's order this was. I advised this customer multiple times over the past 3 weeks that the best course of action would be for me to setup a return for him and to refund him. He asked me to keep pushing for the refund.

User has been refunded. I am still willing to setup a return for him if that is what he wants like I have told him for the past 3 weeks.
