A way to play Dead by Daylight on a different Server for every banned player?

Hi guys,

as i was banned days before from a dev and i don't really know the reason why (becouse there is no info about it) i can't play DbD anymore with my main account. The only way is to buy a new game and play it on a another account. (As i don't have any known solution to bypass a manual Ban of a Dev)

So as i think about it there needs to be a solution out there. It is not a HWID ban so you could basically play the game if your account wouldn't be banned from the DbD Server.

One solution is logically to bypass it with a spoofer but i don't have that knowlege to do that, the other thing is there needs to be a way to play Dead by Daylight on a different Server?! As we all know you could play DbD with a banned Account on a PTB Server. So you could also play DbD then on a third Custom Server (like World of Warcraft or some other Games) or not? Maybe there is a possible way for that?

If this solution would be possible one day it would be awesome for everyone.

One solution is playing on a free version of dbd you can find online.

Man you're a GENIUS . This Tut would help so much people out there and already in this community here to stay in the FOG .

A Custom Server for anyone could change a whole world for the Community of DbD. If this is possible i would host one for everyone -_- . As far as it is possible to Update the game and play on different Server it would be huge. It would solve many problems.


I've tryed the DevBuild by my own in following steps:

- Go to your Steam Shortcut and open the Properties
- Go to Target and type behind –dev –console
- Restart Steam
- Now you will see the Dev Console next to your profile
- The code you need to use is: download_depot <appid> <depotid> <manifested>
- So now we need all these ID’s. Open your Browser and go to steamdb. Info
- Search for Dead by Daylight
- Under APPTYPE Search for the Game and pick up the GameID (381210)
- Now we need the DepodID just click on the GameID. Now you will see to your left “Depots”
- Click on it and search for Dead by Daylight Content. Write down the ID (this is your DepotID 381211)
- Now you need to click on the ID to find the ManifestID.
- Click on the left side on Manifests and write down the last ManifestsID (5184315945902183851)
- Now your Code should look like this: download_depot 381210 381211 5184315945902183851
- And there we go. Type this into your console and it will start downloading the DevBuild version
- Once the Download is done you can find the DevBuild Version under your Steam/steamapps/content folder (app_381210).[/I]

But there is a connection problem for this way. When you press space to continue:
Cannot conect to online services. Please try again later.
Error code: 8,013

Now it starts, but with my banned main account i can't still play. Did i missed anything? Or it works only on a unbanned account (new account)? So this is not really a solution for a DevBanned Account to make it possible to play DbD again on it.

Maybe one day it would be possible to add custom dbd Servers to the game and we can play it again with the banned account.
