I saw somewhere that if you vpn and hotspot from a laptop it can work. It was on xbox though

an IP ban shouldn't be too hard to bypass atleast

They ban Console ID (CID) instead and the only way around it is if someone gives you there's and you spoof it in but like everything else they cost money in some instances. This is what Sony does anyway, they leave your IP alone.

My PS3 is PSN-ID banned, it's kind of Console Ban.
If you have a Jailbroken Console, you can just switch the PSN-ID to a still working one, but it's still a Console Ban and not cool xD
