While I agree, an alpha just goes for it, but its okay if you are a beta. Not everyone is an alpha.
Ofc Alpha is my goal. Just not there yet. I think I'm doing pretty decent talking to lots of girls (never had the confidence to approach a girl and just ask for her number/fb), I just gotta get to the next step now. One step at a time.

That's not the point. The point is you're going about getting experience the wrong way. You're taking the scared route, the safe route. The route everyone else takes. There's a reason why you feel the need to "test" the waters. Is it because you feel uncertain about yourself or you're second guessing yourself? I always tell people the same thing when they're not sure if they should ask a girl out or something similar. Just go for it. It's do or die. You either try and fail or not try at all and STILL fail. OORR, you succeed and actually take life into your own hands for once and not waiting on life to hand you things. Except that second option is EASY and safe way because you completely block any type of rejection. Who cares if you're gonna make things awkward or lose friends in the process of doing that? Lately I've been meeting a lot of girls irl and texting them as part of my self growing. I've been doing pretty well with my personal growth and I think I'm ready to be in a relationship. Most of the girls I text are pretty awesome.

Sometimes convo's I have with them go on for hours, though I never know how to "test" flirt. As in, say something a little flirty and see if she flirts back type of thing. Something that isn't hardcore, just to see if she likes you in that way or not.

Do you guys have any examples/"go to lines" you use to see if she likes you? I know you can't just say the line randomly, but you can drive the conversation into a specific direction so when you use that "flirt line". Any examples you guys have?

I personally just know by talking to the girl or looking at her if she likes me or not. But, If you are making a conversation, maybe ask her if she has a boyfriend? If she doesnt, or if you already know she doesnt, then ask her what kind of a guy does she like? Usually, you dont need to force flirt. Rather, go out with her. Ask her if she wants to go to a movie with you. Or if she wants to go eat something with you. If she says yes. Then thats a good sign. If you are looking for a girl who will stay with you, she wouldnt be easily pulled by cheesy flirty lines. So, one scenario for example, You ask her if she has a boyfriend? She says no. (if yes then...lolz). You ask her, why not? you are so cute/beautiful (be honest here. dont call her beautiful if you dont feel it inside. Just compliment her in the thing she is actually good). Ask her if she would like to go out with you for a movie/lunch/dinner etc. Take her out. Talk to her. Once you spend some time together, you will get closer. For eg. Enjoy. Make her laugh. Be yourself during the movie etc. Remember to look in her eyes. See if she is making eye contact with you. While doing so, see if she has a smile and doesnt take her eyes off yours and if you see her eyes shine a little. When you finish the movie. Tell her that you had a wonderful time with her by your side. Ask her if she would like to go out with you the next day or day after (actually plan to meet. not just "ah..wanna meet some other day?" "yeah" then forget). If she says yes lets meet tomorrow or day after. Drop her home and remember to say that she is beautiful and cute...if things happen, let it. She may get the hint and make a move here only. Let her. Now, while you are joking around in the movie.. try and put in a line or two where you ask "do i look fine?" etc. make her LAUGH so she isnt grumpy. But be yourself..knowing you from our last talk..you said you were funny and goofy :3. So, before saying bye, ask her if she would like to go out on a date with you. If she says yes..(considering you wouldnt want to plan out a freaking red carpet, candle light date) tell her that it wouldnt be extravagant but you just wish to spend time with her and love to do so and take her for lunch or dinner.

Good things take time and care. Dont be pushy etc. RELAX and be calm. I would have helped and told you if the girl is into you if i was around since I got da power!!!!! but being humble and gentle will get to her.
