    Sprints (30 sec max sprint, 45-60 sec rest) x10

    Knocked 3 minutes off my 5K time doing that 3-5 times a week for 3 weeks. No complaints lol

    This. I would finish off my workouts with 10 minutes on the treadmill. 30 sec sprints at 8.5 mph and then 3-6 mph "jog" for 45-60 seconds depending on how I optimized my rests due to energy levels.
