Remember to stretch before and after any workouts to reduce muscle pains
Your first few months of intensive workout normally show the most muscle grown as its the first time your body experiences consistence heavy loading btw
When I first went to the gym I used David Laid' PPL program and just ate as much as I could and finished off my day with a shake with a cup of oats, 250mL milk, two scoops of protein powder and just whatever shit I could put in it (peanut butter, nutella, chocolate syrup).
If you want to use supplements, definitely just stick to whey and creatine. Cheap and effective.
