What can 1 year gym do to a person who is 49kg?

    Title says pretty much everything...

Just curious as I've been trying to keep as much weigh as possible, enough where it's consistent with my height.

Do simple exercise at home so that your body wants to eat more otherwise you wont be hungry enough to gain weight

Dont go to the gym just eat more calories and then after a while go to the gym when your appetite is healthy

While I appreciate the suggestions, I should have pointed out that I was stuck around 42 to 44 KG for a very long time, during the school times as teen, as an early "adult" and now 25 YO, I am nearly 50 KG and I'm 5'7 in terms of tallness, so it seems like the ideal kg would be 57kg?

I was stuck at 60kg at 18 while being 6,4 then i started going to a gym as a part of my collage schedule and instantly my appetite changed and i started eating more and gaining more weight, so just start moving around and you'll gain more weight

I have been starting to move a lot more than I have before, can also factor in the fact that I'm less stressed out, I used to eat once a day, now I'm eating at least 4-5, somedays 6-7 times a day.

I would suggest to practice with just your weight. Do not put any external weight on, use just your body. And try to have balanced dietary regime.

Working out doesn't mean you will put on weight

You need to eat to put on weight, but it may not be as simple as that depending on how well your gut processes food

My metabolism is super high, so it'll process it super fast, I am not looking to gain weight, more like, body build my body to a place where I am not too shamed to be without shirt

Yeah, I'm that fucking skinny, and shamed of my own upper body.

Increase your protein intake and work out, you will see and feel a difference but may not gain much weight.

Well, rip my protein intake then, I barely eat any meat 'cause I'm partly a VEGAN, there are few things I eat, like patties and minced meat, otherwise no meat product, my food intake in general is really fucked up, most have had something with traumatizing experiences with food or some shit.

IDK about like actual weights and stuff but going to a gym can really help with time management, especially if you're going everyday or every other day. Forcing yourself to make that 1-2 hours for your health not only helps your health but your time management too.

It's good to join gym but the result varies for each person
I was 62kg and to gain 15kg it took me 1year plus I want to keep it natural dint take any supplements.
But my friend gained 15kg in 6 months.
Be consistent, follow a proper diet...I bet in 1 month you can feel the difference. Make it your routine.

It depends on how much effort you apply, how often you go, how well you eat/sleep etc. I'd say you could put on a solid 15-20lbs with the correct mentality & a majority of it wouldn't be fat.

When it comes to consistency, then every day for an entire year (as I am buying 3 month subscription, as I am a pensionaire, therefore it becomes cheaper), and eat as much healthy proitine as possible, like every morning an hour before gym make big enough breakfast where the body can feed to be ready enough for the 2 hour GYM stuff (yeah, 120 minutes is the limit in the location), all I would wish to achieve is have healthy enough upper chest where I can be comfortable enough to go out without the shirt on, so a lot of work is coming on my way, but that won't be happening till later of the year due to financial difficulty.
