    Lightbulb Another language..

Is anyone here interested in the Portuguese language and at the same time fluent in German ??

If anyone is interested in this, there is a person willing to help you in the learning of the language Portuguese in exchange for help with German.

    Thank you.

I think how the internet works as of in the recent years, people can easily self-learn a language.

It's still the best way to learn with a native speaker. There's a guy called laoshu505000 on YT. He speaks almost every language imaginable and he learned most of them studying and getting help from native speakers. It's crazy how he's able to talk to every person in their native language and how he just goes around town and having casual conversations to get better.

I guess so, I have not had an issue learning another language without having some native speaker right besides me to get better at the said language, what is even worse that when I am an Estonian, but speak English more often if not all the time, then my own mother tongue is "leaving" me, like awhile ago I had such a hard time trying to express what I feel towards certain thing in my language due to my sister being retarded, so I nearly gave up on Estonian and type to her in English lmao, and I've been living in this country for 25, about to be 26 years.

Must be hard "losing" your mother tongue. Are you still able to have a casual conversation when visiting your family?
If I'd have problems talking in german my parents would just ignore me because their english sucks. I'd have a really hard time.

Only when talking face to face, otherwise I do have such a hard time picking the rightful words, depending on the situations.

I don't wanna sound like a dick but it's gonna be hard to find some language exchange opportunities in a forum that doesn't focus on languages. Have you tried looking for some dedicated sites?

It would be hard to find sm1 with such specific requirements. As others have mentioned, you would be better off looking at communities dedicated to learning languages.
