    Highly Experimental Assemblies for 7DTD Mods (A17)

    TESTERS NEEDED. These are highly experimental and are very unlikely to work correctly, if at all. Please test them and report back. If something isn't working correctly, if possible, please supply at least two (2) unmodified screenshots (uploaded to imgur) and a detailed description of what happened and what you were doing when the issue occurred.

    These modifications have NOT been tested whatsoever. Use at your own risk!

    These assemblies are for:
    Ravenhearst:
    - 5.4.13
    - 5.5.1
    - 5.5.2 (latest)
    DarknessFalls:
    - Stable 2.30A
    - Experimental 2.30A
    War of the Walkers:
    - 6.x Beta
    - 6.x Beta CompoPack
    Vanilla:
    - A17.4-b4 (or was it A17.4-b9?)

    Features:
    - Display Players on Map
    - Universal Owner (For doors, containers, and vehicles)
    - Creative Menu / Debug Menu
    - Console CMDs
    - Extreme damage (Toggle with the insert key)

    How to Install:
    1. Download the archive containing the assemblies for the mod you're using.
    2. Verify what version of the mod you're using and copy the Assembly-CSharp.dll and MPGH.dll from the correct folder inside the downloaded archive.
    3. Paste the correct version of both the Assembly-CSharp.dll and MPGH.dll into the \Managed\ directory of your modded game installation.
    4. ???
    5. Profit!

    I don't see why it's experimental. None of the features are really new, and all mods can be modded in the same way as vanilla, most of the time.

    I said that it's "experimental" as a more visible way of saying that I haven't tested it at all and it may not work. You're right in saying that it's not really experimental.

    It shouldn't be. If you're using mods, EAC would be disabled already, so it shouldn't matter. (Plus EAC shouldn't ban anyone in singleplayer regardless.) If you're using the vanilla version, EAC will need to be disabled as it is known to cause a black screen upon loading. This is due to the the modded assembly file failing the integrity check by EAC.

    Could you share the code for the insert key bind? I'd like to make an in-game mod menu of sorts, but I haven't found a good example on making binds in an assembly.

    Here is the tutorial I made on it. The code I'm using is almost identical to what's shown here: https://www.mpgh.net/forum/showthread.php?t=1421802&

    If you're looking to make an in-game mod menu, try looking at the Unity section on Unkn0wncheats. People have shared source codes to GUIs that they've made. The "Beginner's Guide To Hacking Unity Games" thread that's been pinned is pretty good. There are some great stuff been talked about in the thread's comments as well.
