Classic or Retail? What release number? You can't get help without details.

What did you extract it with and is it up to date. A lot of the time there are issues. Because people do not update anything. So they try and extract a new archive with old software.

Check of what you hand is up to date. If not update it and then download and delete the old one and re extract it. As it sounds like it is not fully extracted.
