[WIP] Robot Invasion

Hi all,

I've been working on this mod which is themed around a war between Humans and Robots.
Meant for war gametype.




Current features in a nutshell:

Robots:
- Slow movement
- AC130 HUD
- AC130 guns (3)
- Thermal vision
- Extra strong (health)
- No radar
- No killstreaks

Humans:
- Fast movement
- Rocket Launchers (unlimited)
- RPD Light machine gun (unlimited)
- C4 (unlimited)
- UAV, Precision Airstrike and Pavelow standing by
- killstreaks: predator, AC130 and Nuke obtainable



Features I want to include if possible:
- Change teams halfway, even for TDM and WAR gametypes
- Optional force team balance 2/3 Humans 1/3 Robots
- Disable class selection screen
- Have uav and helicopter called in automatically constantly, without humans having to call it in
- Make coldblooded perk an obtainable 'killstreak' for humans
- Enable sprint for robots, with x seconds unable to use guns afterwards
- Replace 'spetsnaz' etc with ROBOT or HUMAN?


Known bugs:
- Robots get fullspeed for a splitsecond when spawning
- Helicopters change to enemy while in air sometimes (seen it happen once)
- When AC130 killstreak is obtained, no HUD or crosshairs are visable anymore once you scroll for weapon change


Removed features:
- Change model for robots. No good alternative model found. sentry guns were the most logical, but it was just a silly sight.

It's hard to get the balance right, because the robot weapons are so powerful, but I think I got it pretty well balanced now. Especially with DOM gametype on larger maps with 18ppl this is really fun.

If there's anyone here who thinks he can help me with one of those features/bugs I want to improve, please let me know.

PS: Humans now have uav, airstrike and pavelows.
This game with 18ppl on wasteland is awesome (imo)

WIP means work in progress. I want to add those features mentioned before 'releasing' it.
I'm totally new to this and I don't know what is possible and what isn't.

I posted this so you could get a preview of what I'm doing, and to see if anyone would be interested in working on the code with me.

I've been scanning this whole site but i can't seem to find a tutorial on how to create mods like this ? Or in fact any mod. I just want to creat my own ninja mod but all i find is how to create skins. :s please help.
