    MARKETPLACE - Rules/Requirements/IM & Requests (MUST READ BEFORE SUBMITTING THREADS)

    This thread is a compilation of the efforts of various users which should help you comply with relevant rules and assist in getting your thread approved without any hassles. Please remember that everything posted here is an extension of the MPGH general rules.

    (i)


    Some general section rules:


    • Any threads that are submitted in WTS/WTT/WTB/User services should be from the users original IP address, this means No VPN/VPS/Cloud/Webhosting. Use the appropriate thread prefixes!
    • You can only post on your thread ONCE PER DAY, from the last post YOU created on the thread. This means you can't always post on your thread to reply to customers questions or responses. If you wish to respond to people, you may do so after 24 hours (from your last post), or equivalently, you can edit your latest post with a quote of their post and respond to them that way or Contact them via IM/PM.
    • Create only ONE thread for the ENTIRE forum. Some exceptions can be made (i.e. posting in Elite selling/trading buying + a public selling/trading/buying forum)
    • Thread approvals are in place for marketplace sections. This means you must wait for your thread to be approved by the moderation team before you can view it. Be patient, as this process can take 24 hours. It can be longer than this, as the thread queue gets quite large everyday
    • Shitposting or spamming isn't tolerated.
    • People that will be selling their accounts to buyers here must have the original e-mail of the accounts
    • If you were scammed, create a thread in Scammers Grave and follow the procedure of how to create a scam report here.
    • For complaints/negative vouches (e.g. bad service) please provide meaningful, professional, and noninflammatory remarks with proof. Otherwise, your post will be deleted.
    • With the implementation of MPGH's IM system there is no longer a fear of impersonators, whoever you're dealing with is on that account and that account is held accountable. It's highly recommended to be safe when trading, review comments on threads and as always if you feel that you have been scammed please make a scam report in the Scammer Grave.
    • Verify that you are not talking to a impersonator/fake user/wrong user with a : ' or . at the end of their name by checking the profile of the person you are talking to on IM
    • Any product or service listed must include a price and proof. If there is a price range for your listing, an explanation must be provided on how the price changes. Similarly if you are unable to provide proof, it may require additional explanation before approval.
    • You can not copy other user's thread layout or design unless given permission to by the thread creator. This includes all subsections in the marketplace.


    Failure to follow these guidelines will result in your thread getting deleted and a potential warning, infraction, or ban.

    How to Use the MPGH IM:

    IM is the primary method of communication allowed on MPGH, In the event that IM is down, you may make use of PM/E-mail. No 3rd party communications are allowed, usage of any such 3rd party apps if found will result in warning/infraction/ban. If any 3rd party communication is mentioned in a thread or post, it will be deleted and user warned/infracted/banned.

    If you do not have IM on the thread and we only see email then your thread will be closed. Disposable & Temporary emails are NOT allowed. You are not allowed to use communication platforms that is offered by your email provider. An example would be Google Hangouts. Doing so would result in your account being permanently banned.

    In order to add someone on IM, can simply search for their username on IM and press the add button:

    In order to hyperlink the IM on your sales thread or post, you must make use of the BB code [IM= USER ID] Add me on IM [/ IM]

    The user ID is obtained from your profile URL, in my case my profile URL is https://www.mpgh.net/forum/member.php?u=324937 and the User ID is 324937

    In summary your BB code should appear as [IM=324937]Add me on IM[/ IM] without the space between the / and IM, the result would be Add me on IM

    Thread Edit Requests:

    After 24 hours of your post or thread creation,you will not be able to edit it. This feature is there to prevent possible rule breaking content being added. Your thread edits after the 24 hour mark will have to be done my MPGH staff.

    In order to request a thread edit,

    Copy and paste your whole thread layout into pastebin(with the desired changes) - https://pastebin.com/
    Report the thread by pressing the report icon below the post and mention you wanted it edited and provide the new pastebin link.

    Please Note: If a minion accidentally misses violated rules in your new thread edit, that is still your responsibility and the thread will be closed. Minions aren't there to proof read thread edit requests, if it slips past them then your threads WILL be deleted.

    What you are NOT permitted to offer/receive/service in MPGH Marketplace:

    A general list that includes but not limited to:

    • Any "hacks", "cheats" or related stuff
    • Scripts, including remote executive
    • Bypasses
    • Menus
    • Keystealers or account stealers
    • Methods to sell keys
    • Phished accounts
    • Random and unchecked accounts accounts, keys, or logs
    • Selling of random keys (even if checked).
    • Fortnite Codes
    • Anything "bruteforcing" related EXCEPT configs(For sentry mba,openbullet etc...). You are allowed to sell configs.
    • Fortnite refunding
    • Any form of escrow (eBay holders for ex.)
    • Drops (Mainly used for SEing)
    • DDoS or doxing
    • Personal accounts (Steam, Origin, Fortnite etc..)without email access
    • Programs
    • Saved debit/credit cards
    • Anything related or linked to "Amazon" and their services is NOT allowed (EDU email's/Refunding services/Etc..)
    • Selling Fake Documents(Passport/ID, etc.)
    • eBay Refunding/Holders/Sellers/Escrow
    • Rainbow Six: Siege Credit
    • Buy4You Services
    • Limited paypal Accounts
    • Betting & Prediction Services
    • Tips/Mentoring Services
    • CashApp accounts (Can only be sold if its made on Buyer Device)
    • Ghosting or ignoring active customers for an excessive period of time may result in an infraction





    Requirements for sales threads:

    • Every sales thread must have proof of the item/service/account/ you wish to sell.
    • All Sales threads must be posted from your original IP address, this means no VPN/VPS/CLOUD/WEBHOSTING
    • Every thread must have the primary method of contact IM hyperlinked, the only other form of contact allowed is PM/E-mail (In the event IM is down).
    • Make sure your thread title or content does not use any misleading or clickbait terms along the lines of "Trusted/Premium/Reliable Member/#1". Anything that we find misleading will be removed.
    • Any product or service listed must include a price and proof. If there is a price range for your listing, an explanation must be provided on how the price changes. Similarly if you are unable to provide proof, it may require additional explanation before approval.
    • Add Warranty and Terms of Service in your thread. That means if you are selling accounts for an example,you must write under what conditions will you replace and/or refund and if so in what duration will you offer that. Example:"If your account stops working within 1 month i will replace it with another". Keep in mind that you are allowed to provide no warranty at all,but you must write that the same way.
    • If you are submitting a thread in WTT, post what you are trading (With proof) and what you want in return. (If you want money in return then this thread belongs in WTS section)
    • Do not post product/item/services with a bid, use the Price Check Section to get an idea of its value and submit your sales thread with the value you have decided.
    • If you wish to start a service, you must first complete a service giveaway (Service includes any refunding/SE/account shops/game services). If you have finished your service giveaway be sure to include the url in your sales thread.
    • If you wish to sell an e-book you must comply with eBook Rules & Approval Guidelines
    • If you wish to start a currency exchange, you must comply with The Currency Exchange Requirements


    Requirements to start your own refund/SE service(s)

    In addition to the requirements for sales threads,

    • You must have at least 1 month on the site
    • You must have at least 50 posts
    • Any new type of service being introduced to the marketplace will require a vouch copy to be given through a service giveaway
    • High-risk services must also provide a vouch copy as stated above. A service will be deemed as high-risk upon the discretion of marketplace minions and upper staff.
    • New sellers may be required to provide a vouch copy to a qualifying member via a giveaway (moderated by staff through a giveaway)
    • Use IM to contact members on MPGH for vouch copies or PM them.
    • Any new service that you provide whether it is a SE or new product that you are offering, a service giveaway must be created. For example, if a user is offering a SE/Refunding service a service giveaway must be created. If the same user is offering something else like Netflix accounts or gaming accounts, then another service giveaway thread would be required.
    • All payments for refunding services must be done after refunder gives proof of a successful refund, Any upfront payment must be done with the use of an MM. Click here to read about this in detail



    Service giveaway requirements:

    To make things easier for Marketplace staff we have a few guidelines we'd like you to follow to help organize the giveaway section and make it easier on our Middlemen when picking winners so they can distinguish a service giveaway and just a regular giveaway.


    • Create a new thread in the giveaway section
    • You MUST use the Service prefix and follow the outline given below

    • Enter a brief description of your service and giveaway in the thread content and submit the thread.
    • It's recommended that you include your IM BB code but it's not required.
       

      In summary your BB code should look like this: [IM=USERID]Add me on IM[ /IM]. User ID can be obtained by going to your profile and snagging the numbers at the end of the URL. Do not leave a space between the [ and / at the closing tag.
    • The minimum and maximum duration a service giveaway is permitted to run is 72 hours (3 days). When this time has been passed you must mention a Marketplace staff and/or Middleman to pick the winner. You can find the current list of Marketplace staff and/or Middleman staff members by scrolling down to the bottom of any Marketplace section or by viewing this thread.

    • To mention them, prefix their name with an @. If your post starts with a mention be sure to insert a random character and then mention.
      Example: 72 hours have passed @RespectNF
      (or)
      @ @RespectNF
    • The winner of the giveaway must vouch on the thread with proof as applicable.
    • Once a moderator closes your service giveaway, Create your service sales thread and include the link to your giveaway at the top of the thread content.
    • Use common sense in determining how many winners you want for a giveaway, if you make a giveaway saying you will be providing the service to 10 users then those 10 users have to vouch on the thread until which your service thread would be pending approval.


    Remember, fake/incomplete giveaways will incur a ban. If a service or method has been patched after you made your giveaway thread, it is your duty to inform us at the earliest.


    ToS, Warranties & Lifetime Rules:


    • As of August 29, 2017, lifetime services (i.e. "lifetime of the shop" services) are no longer permitted. Anyone who has purchased a lifetime deal or is running a service that has lifetime is still bound to it, however, new lifetime deals are no longer allowed to be offered to anyone, and by anyone.
    • Alternatively, you can sell unlimited warranties for a limited time (e.g. you can receive replacements of Spotify accounts an unlimited number of times for 3 months).
    • Any future "unlimited warranty for a limited time" services must specifically list out the time the warranty lasts, the cost, and any other details necessary. It will provide unlimited replacements for individual. There is zero room for inexplicability.
    • Prices of these services must be fair, and duration cannot be extremely long. This will be investigated and decided by MM's that look at your thread when approving it.
    • If you decide to close your thread while people have active warranties, you MUST continue providing warranties until the expiration date. Warranties are not "void" in any way. Failure to provide warranties can result in a legitimate scam report being filed. Avoidance of individuals after closure is not acceptable either, and can result in a legitimate scam report as well.
    • Terms of Service are conditions or statements that will help address your role in case of any mishaps after sale of a product/service, they must be reasonable. ToS and Warranty conditions will be reviewed during the approval process and will be addressed promptly if they need to be changed.
    • ToS on threads and rules can be overridden by MPGH Staff decision in scam reports in order to prevent unfair treatment and/or if absolutely necessary. Such things will require Mod+ to invoke such decisions.
    • If sellers are going to be accepting cryptocurrency payments, they'll be required to have a refund policy clearly stating the method of refund. They'll have to state whether refunds will be provided in the exact crypto amount or the FIAT currency equivalent that was determined during their sale.
