I mean I like the idea of marrying up. But it really depends on the person. I gotta say, IN GENERAL, old money kids tend to be more likely to be a snobbish asshole. New money, they may also be snobbish assholes but they at least earned it I suppose. Or at least that's how they seem around where I live (which is a college city). It does kinda pain me if my wife earns more than me tho due to the social stigma behind a man earning less. Fucking cultural expectations am I right?

Yeah same. I am trying (as I said trying) to do a self-analysis about what type of person I am and it seems more clearer then ever that I am a sexist, in some ways. Like I think that females should be earning equal as men, long as they are doing the same amount of work and have the same skill set and all else is equal basically. BUT I like watching female protagonist, reading about them and whatnot. BUT I do think for things like becoming a country leader it should be based on skills. So I don't know why I think its ok for some things and not for others. Now for the case of marrying, I want to marry down for a purely power control. I feel like if she looks worse then me, earns less, is less educated then I can control her more then if it was vise versa. As I said for me marrying is not the same as it is for majority of the other people. So am I a sexist? Can you help me shed some light? Tell me why also

2. Sexist? Maybe. It just sounds to me like you grew up in a very socially conservative environment, which isn't too surprising. I think the only place where I think people aren't raised socially conservative is like Europe. In America, we got bible thumpers. In Asia (or at least Chinese people based on personal experience), people are also very socially conservative. Middle East is what I imagine maximum social conservatism is. Idk anything about African culture. My Hispanic friends have told me that in South American culture, like Chinese culture, men are generally more valued than women.

In the end, my view on women? Can't live without them. I'm a straight male. I'm attracted to women and hope women find me attractive. And so I try not to be an absolute dick to women and treat them as equals. Wow. Like I know that being straight isn't a good reason to not be sexist, but for the sexist straight troglodytes out there, being an asshole ain't sexy fam.

It doesn't matter tbh, each person has their own value of you based on your current cumulative whole from some completely randomly attributes that they value. That changes with time, some people decrease slowly, some rapidly, some increase slowly, some rapidly. So whoever or whatever you marry can change 10 years from now and your value can change 10 from now. Some can lose some limbs or become batshit crazy overnight and then you're fucked. The only thing you can do is maximize your worth.
