looks quite a good upgrade within the budget that you currently have
the RAM can be reused if you plan on upgrading down the line
Howdy,
I have been working on the somewhat of a new PC build here, and I've made a decision to convert myself over to another brand, the reason to why I will be doing that is because AMD is cheaper, and has been really dropping some amazing products within a year!
So new parts are:
AMD R5 2600 (going with this because I do not have enough money to build the 3rd gen computer, and it's cheaper)
MSI B450 Gaming Plus Max
Patriot Viper Steel 16GB (2x8) 3600Mhz
there will be more, however, I will not add them at the moment, due to the fact it'll increase the price of the build, so I'll be spending money on the core content, then additional content later on
NB: yes, I am aware that I could simply upgrade my CPU to 3rd gen because B450 will support it, however, like I said my budget is 320€ at the moment, so I won't be able to.
@niggo - thoughts on this? I am part of a server where a lot of people have told me that this is one of the best approaches I have, and there was a mistake which was made with the PC parts of the current build, my CPU is i7-3770 not i7-3770k.

you dont need 3600mhz, lower it to 3000mhz and spend the money on another hardware upgrade
