I remember back in the day there was so many games like combat arms with huge playerbases. CA, AvA, CrossFire, Project Blackout, and one of my favorites, WolfTeam. Unfortunately all of those games are dead, and I don't really think there's any populated modern games similar to those.

Does anyone know of any game to play to scratch that FPS itch? I like how those games had lobbies to choose from, very social communities, and tons of guns to choose from. Does anyone have any insight on why that style of fps slowly died?
