Thoughts on Vaping?

I'm curious on to what the community thinks about vaping whether it be a larger mod with a tank or something mini like a Juul, Blu, Smok etc?

Is it good these things came out? I think it's a genuinely decent alternative for cigarette smokers trying to get off their addiction, however I've
seen plenty of middle school kids (age 11-13) smoking them and that I am kind of concerned about and there aren't really long-term studies yet
on the effects of vaping since they haven't been around as long as cigs. Vaping is also much easier to smoke and hide because of the smell vs cigs.

Ive been on and off cigarettes for a long while now, been vaping for years started off with the disposable ones and those hookah pens and like mods, i bought a juul when they first where announced cause Pax makes great herb vapes but that shit was wayy to expensive and made me sick, I'm currently using the my blu i smoke the mintsation pods and the melon time ones, my blu is so fucking good it makes it harder for me to quit, ive been seeing the FDA reports but they seem to be about THC vapes, however we really do not know the affects of vaping, it could be just as bad or worse than cigs and we dont know. I really wanna quit but they are so convenient and the hit is great

Ideally no one would smoke cigs or vapes. I get how vapes could be used as a great alternative to cigs but since they haven't been researched thoroughly for negative side effects yet I wouldn't trust them. Popcorn lungs and other vape diseases might just be scratching the surface. Same thing happened with cigarettes being advertised as a healthy habit in the 50's

I am not fully educated on the topic. However, it cannot be better than not smoking it, can it? It still sends smoke into your lungs and nicotine is still addictive. I have heard, but haven't confirmed myself, that some of them can blow up or cause death (but these were black market ones, far as I know). So its your choice.

yeah vaping is just like old tobacco. They say its "healthy" Just like they did when cigs first came out. Its so new that you cannot say it doesn't cause cancer and stuff as it has not been enough time for stuff like that to widely developed in users. You some already sure why not vape. But don't vape just to vape.

I try not to be a guinea pig for stuff, in 20-30 years we will see what adverse health effects these have. Like maybe cancers or other stuff. I will only vape my home made THC oil from my home grown flower.

Only thing I don't like about vaping is it makes you look like a gayboi. It keeps me off cigarettes now and then though. No matter what they're all bad for you and especially cigarettes which will kill you.

Yeah they managed to find a way to get a generation statistically unlikely to develop a nicotine addiction to get hooked on this shit

Unlike the smoking generation, you cannot blame the tobacco company solely on for this generation addiction. They have the internet, books, previous generation, and school, to understand the risks. People do it regardless. I was in HS school when it came out, so you cannot say that it was not informed to the students.
