Suggestion for MPGH

I was wondering if it's possible for Resource Team/News Force members to get color tags when adding on IM? If you would add me now, it would show me and other team members as a normal users.

Here is what I'm talking about. I'll use user @CYBERPVNK as an example. If you add him on IM, there is no color for his currently set group, Resource Team. But if you open his profile, you can see that his name is colored.



Also, I don't know if that is important(not to me personally), but to have those cool [MPGH] stuff next to our names, or you get them after trial period(2 months?) ?.

I've seen new GFX Team getting ones so I asked for it. Maybe someone from NF/RT would like to have them as well.

NF isn't staff and from RT applications, they appear to not be staff either.

RT is a position that paves a pathway for them to get staff (minion) and News Force shouldn't be considered staff.

Adding a color for the groups into IM would be nice I guess but I'm against the MPGH prefix since it was removed from these groups to draw a fine line between staff and other special groups.

Publicist and News Force aren't managed directly by the Staff Administration team so I don't think they should be given any staff perks either.

Resource Team can potentially be given staff but I think Flengo just wants it to be a special group

Yeah, showing usergroup color in adding in IM would be a neat addition to prevent scams from posers. Adding an [MPGH] is too much tho, carrying the [MPGH] status is a heavy burden that most people are not ready to bear. Mad respects to staffs and minions

Yeah I'm with what @Ahlwong said. Perhaps in the future if News properly takes off and gets big with it's new direction, it can be looked at again.

For Resource Team, they are not staff, but I'm pretty sure them not having an IM colour isn't intentional. So that should end up being changed eventually?

I don't know why having [MPGH] strokes people's ego. If you want that, just become a staff. I personally only join news to be informed about the news and to improve my critical thinking and writing skills. I want it to improve my organization skills and time management and with deadlines this really helps me. Don't join news force for a ego boost.

edit: im not saying they deserve the MPGH tag, but don't be dicks and say they aren't considered staff when they are literally doing work under the admins/owners orders
