I need your GPU opinion

gtx 1070 vs gtx 1080 (both used)

Hey guys Im building a new gaming pc with specs: Ryzen 5 3600 Tomahawk max Corsair tx550m G.Skill 16gb 3200 Adata xpg sx8200 512gb Seagate 2tb

And I was looking at used gpus and found Asus dual gtx 1070 for 180€ ($200) and Zotac gtx 1080 for 265€ ($295). Which one is better bargain? Should i look for another gpu?

1080 is def worth the extra bit of cash, unless you can save up more and go for a RTX 2070 (there are some used ones out there for $375-$425) which performs slightly better and comes with ray tracing. If you don't want to wait, the 1080 can still run most if not all new games with ease at high-ultra, 60-144fps, specially at 1080p. At 1440p you might need to tweak some settings but can still get plenty of performance.

If you can, make the seller do a 3dmark benchmark and send you the results, or do one with you, to make sure the card is working well.

What Liz said, basically. I'd go for the 1080 bc it's worth it in my eyes. It's not too much extra, but you'll notice and enjoy its performance.

the 1080 def is the better choice imo as it gives you that little bit extra power for the money
if you look at new cards you wont be able to get nearly as much performance for your money
and at this price point you also wont be able to find the new features like ray tracing (which dont really make sense yet)
