This.... if it is possible than it would have to have full 8 billion human man and than some robots behind it to create. Only thing I am looking forward to is bionics, nano-tech, AI, VR. All not at the level I am thinking at.

I'm not sure absolute immersion like the kind of thing you'd see in SAO is 'possible' with our current tech.

I don't think it's the technology's fault. We don't need a Quantum Computer to play VR games, right?

it's not so much the processing power but the question of how we're going to hook it up to ourselves, assuming you're referring to something like the nervegear. as it stands it seems we simply don't have the knowledge of the human brain that would allow us to achieve such a thing.

I haven't really mentioned something like the nerve gear. But at least smooth body tracking, etc.
