Are you guys 100% sure about this? I'm buying a new PC to play DbD again but I would also like to be able to log into my old steam account (where I got banned on DbD) to play other games. But if it's not 100% sure and I'm risking to get banned again after buying a new PC I'd rather not open the old steam account at all.

ok so basically, in my new PC i create a new account where I play dbd and if i want to play my other games on my old banned account I just have to not open dbd in order to not get hardware ID banned again on the new pc, right?
